PFF predicts the Jets will select Tight End Brock Bowers at pick 10, and could be a huge BOOST to the Jets offense, that seems to always be a struggle.

Who Is Brock Bowers?
Bowers, 6’4 is a Tight End from the Georgia Bulldogs, racked up 56 receptions, 714 yards, 6 touchdown in 2023, which just based off those numbers, would rank him above any Jets Tight End last season. In Bowers’ college career, he’s accumulated 28 touchdowns (23, 9, 6), 175 receptions, and 2,538 yards.
Is Bowers A Need?
The Jets have almost never had any GREAT Tight End play, almost-always subpar-decent play. Last season, TE1 Tyler Conklin put up 621 yards and ZERO touchdowns. In 2022, he put up 552 yards and three touchdowns. And while Conk is definitely not this bad as the numbers say, the Jets definitely should look to get a top guy at TE. It is known that Aaron Rodgers loves the Tight End position, we can tell from what he did with Robert Tonyan because once Tonyan left Rodgers, he basically disappeared. Adding a strong Tight End, to a room with Conklin, and even Ruckert (whenever he’s not blocking, he’s a very solid pass catcher) would only benefit the Jets offense, and will have defenses overwhelmed with Bowers/Conk, Garrett/Williams, and even Lazard if he can get back on track. The Jets also have a star Running Back in Breece “The Beast” Hall who was SECOND in the league in total yards, ahead of guys like Tyreek Hill, CeeDee Lamb and many more. This Jets offense, with Bowers has potential to make some significant noise.
