If you like goals you’re gonna love Nick lardis, this kid can score with the best of them. Currently playing for the Brantford Bulldogs in the OHL he has scored 29 goals in 37 games, adding 21 assists to make that 50 points. Nick has been out for about the past month with an injury but should be back in time for the OHL playoffs which he will be a huge part of! I got the chance to message Nick and ask him a few questions so that us Hawks fans can get to know him.
My First two questions I asked Lardis was who was your favorite team growing up and who was your favorite player growing up he replied with “Chicago and Patty Kane”. If you were growing up during the middle of the 2010s the hawks were the team to love, and oh you may know of a guy named Showtime aka Patrick Kane that’s enough said.
For one of the final two questions I asked Nick who he would compare his game after and he replied “Stutzle”. I like this player comparison a lot because they both are fast players, that use there vision and playmaking to either put the puck in the back of the net or dish it too a teammate that could put it in the goal.
For the final question I asked Nick what is his favorite part of Chicago was and he stated “City, food and facilities”. Many people love to rave about the City of Chicago and how beautiful it is, and also how it is a great place to play.
I hope you guys learned something about Nick Lardis and got to know him a little bit better! The 3rd round pick is currently 18 years old and will return to the OHL next year to keep developing. Blackhawks fans should be very excited to see him in Rockford and in Chicago in the next couple years!
