After winning a AFC East winner take all game in Miami, and clinching their 4th straight division title, the Bills still have a lot of work to do. Entering the Playoffs as the 2nd seed in the AFC, they’ll face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday.

The Steelers shouldn’t be a difficult task for the Bills, as the Pittsburgh offense isn’t among the most explosive. They will be starting backup QB Mason Rudolph against Buffalo. The Steelers will also be without their top player, edge rusher TJ Watt, will not be playing. A huge boost to the Bills offensive game plan. The Bills main focus today needs to be stopping the run, and the Steelers have a solid duo in the backfield with Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren, if the Bills force Rudolph to throw, they should have a great game defensively.

Though the Bills offense wont be a full strength either, they’ll be missing WR Gabe Davis, so more targets for Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid alongside Stefon Diggs and James Cook is something to watch out for. And with the game having some pretty bad conditions and potentially even more snow, the run game may be the Bills main attack on Monday. The Bills are a heavy favorite in this game, as they should be. The Bills defense will also look better than if it would’ve if the game ended up being played on Sunday, as the Bills will likely be getting CB Rasul Douglas back from injury, who missed most of the game against Miami. Breakout linebacker Tyrel Dodson however is not likely to play, practice squad callup AJ Klein as well as Dorian Williams, and Baylon Spector are likely going to fill in that role.

The Bills should win this game fairly easily, it’s as simple as that. Assuming they do win, they’ll host the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday, and that would be a interesting sight, as the Chiefs have never played in Orchard Park with fans (played in 2020 with no fans), and could make for a very entertaining matchup. The Bills will look to advance to the divisional round for a 4th consecutive season, but this time they need to go farther.
Score Prediction:
Bills: 27
Steelers: 13
