It’s time to Extend Bryce Huff and Cut-Ties with Carl Lawson

The New York Jets have an elite Defensive-Line and a cluster of Edge rushers including 2023 first-round pick Wil McDonald, Carl Lawson, and Bryce Huff. Lawson, signed a Three-Year, $45 million dollar deal in the 2021 offseason. Lawson, in training camp 2021 tore his Achilles tendon and missed the whole season. His stats from 2022:

• 35 Total Tackles

•18 Solo tackles

•17 Assist

• 7 sacks (Zero this season so far)

Bryce Huff stats since 2022:

• 11 Total Tackles

• 7 solo tackles

• 4 Assist

• 4.5 Sacks

Now it shows Lawson may have better numbers but, Huff also plays in limited snaps and Lawson is making too much money for this type of production, especially when Huff can easily outperform him, and McDonald, who was a first round pick, who has a deadly spin-move, and great speed.
