Jets Broncos Preview

The New York Jets are 1-3 heading to the highly anticipated Jets Broncos week 5 matchup in Denver Colorado. Jets, who got SCREWED OVER on Sunday night football by the refs multiple times, but some things we all saw was Wilson outplay Patrick Mahomes and Wilson look like the inarguable number 2 draft selection. If Zach can keep playing like the way he did, I expect the New York Jets to win more games.

Sean Payton

A couple of weeks ago, Broncos head coach Sean Payton was saying that the Broncos offense will be better and Nathaniel Hackett is an awful Head coach. On Sunday, Hackett was getting criticized and coached a spectacular game. I think if Hackett can coach the way he did, get Mecole Hardman more involved the Jets should pick up the win.

Keys to win

Denver is in a very unique/funky situation. Last year, they had one of the best defenses in the NFL, while having one of the Worst offenses. This year? Flip-flopped. The Denver Defense has been lackluster, giving up 70(!) points to the Miami Dolphins and almost losing to the Chicago Bears. However, Russel Wilson has been one of the better QBs and their offense has been clicking. Denver’s run defense has been ranked #32 in the league and Robert Saleh yesterday said “Breece is no longer gonna be limited in snaps” and his workload will be back to normal. Breece has rushed for 210 yards, averaging 6.8 YPC. If what Saleh said is true, expect a MONSTER game from the second year back. Last year, Breece in Denver ran for 162 yards capped off with a 62 yard touchdown run. Speaking of running, Dalvin cook has had 32 rushes for 73 yards. He has been awful, if he wants to have more playing time and snaps, he has to capitalize vs the Denver defense. I also hope (and expect) the Jets to start using Tight End Jeremy Ruckert a lot more. It’s been said numerous times the Jets want to use him more, and on Sunday, he played 25 snaps which was equivalent to 42% of the snaps catching 2 passes for 26 yards and is an elite blocker.
