Mets Have Found Everyday Power Bat For Next Season

The Mets lineup over the past couple years has lacked power outside of Pete Alonso, but with the likes of Brandon Nimmo, Francisco Lindor and Francisco Alvarez, the Mets have found power. But with this newly graduated prospect in Mark Vientos the Mets have found an everyday bat that can very easily spark the lineup with power, which would be huge as the bottom half of the order has really struggled to hit for power.

Mark Vientos’s Huge September:

A big reason why Mark Vientos could be an everyday guy for the Mets next year will because of his spectacular September to end off a rough 2023 campaign for the ball-club. His .270 ISO, and 131 wRC+ in September has been based off his barrel/HardHit skills taking slight improvements along with also pulling flyball’s and line drives a lot more than in the past. And as it stands currently he projects to be on the 2024 big league roster which if can continue to generate hard contact his spot should be saved in my honest opinion, as he currently ranks 9th in the MLB in Median EV with 93.3, (min, 100 PAs.).
