Zach Wilson’s performance
For most of the game, Wilson was OKAY with just one turnover and one touchdown, but almost every play he had pressure coming after him, more specifically from the Left side. In the 4th, Wilson would throw two more interceptions but they we’re already gonna lose. He was bad, but held his own for 3 quarters Vs one of the best defenses in the NFL. I’m not saying Wilson will be a savior, but even with Rodgers I don’t think the Jets win that game.
Scoring Recap
First drive of the game, the Cowboys led by Quarterback Dak Prescott went 12-12 with a touchdown pass to TE Jake Ferguson. Cowboys defense was relentless against Wilson and the Jets OL, more specifically the left-side and Center has Parson’s was making his presence known very early. Cowboys would score again, this time on a field goal, 10-0 Cowboys. The Jets’ Garrett Wilson would catch a fastball from Zach and score on a catch-and-run 64 yard touchdown run (his 6th of his career, second this season). Cowboys would drive, and the Refs would call an awful roughing the passer call when John Franklin-Myers was pushed down that led to a low hit. Luke Schoonmaker, rookie tight end in Dallas would get a touchdown and Tony Pollard would get the two point conversion. 18-7. Jets would end the half with a field goal, 18-10 Cowboys. Cowboys would hit FOUR more field goals, and 10-30 is your final. Jets host the New England Patriots at home at 1:00.
