The Bills beat the Raiders in a blowout yesterday, after that first defensive drive in which the Bills gave up a touchdown pass, they only allowed 3 points the rest of the game, and it was one of the most well rounded offensive games the Bills have had.

A big part of the Bills offense on Sunday, was their rushing attack. Damien Harris, Latavius Murray both got involved in the Bills offense, as well as second year RB James Cook. Cook had 159 all purpose yards including more than 120 on the ground. Averaging more than 7 YPC, Cook is showing why the Bills used a second round pick on him in 2022. Gabe Davis, and Stefon Diggs also had good games. We also saw glimpses at the offensive talent of Dalton Kincaid. In 5 catches he had 46 yards receiving. The Bills are utilizing two TE sets a lot more with the drafting of Kincaid, something we haven’t seen from the Bills in previous years.

The Bills defense came out to play on Sunday. The defensive line especially was very good. Greg Rousseau, Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones, and Leonard Floyd among others held Josh Jacobs to a negative rushing game. All we’re almost getting pressure at will. Milano mossed Jacobs for a interception. Tarell Bernard also had a pick, he seems to be the answer at the middle linebacker spot thus far. This Bills defence now being led by Sean McDermott, has looked really good so far. They will have a bit of a test next week going against the Washington Commanders who’s offense has been a lot more potent with the hiring of offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
Injury Updates: S Micah Hyde (Hamstring) and DE Leonard Floyd (Ankle) both a bit banged up. Will be something to monitor as the week goes on.
