BREAKING: The New York Jets have finally inked up pro-bowl Running Back Dalvin Cook to a one year, $8.6 million dollar deal. First initial thought is who’s the odd man out? It clearly won’t be Izzy, that leaves us with Carter or Bam Knight and personally I would try and trade Bam. Lets get to Dalvin now:
Dalvin Cook’s 2022 stats are as stated:
264 Carries
1,173 Yards
8 touchdowns (longest 81 vs BUF)
With an average of 7.6 yards
Why did the Jets sign cook with three good running backs?
Breece Hall is coming off a major injury and while he will be ready week 1 vs Buffalo, they don’t wanna overwork him and want him to comeback with ease. How do you do that? Sign a pro-bowl Runningback to an already stacked offense.
The Offense
The offense will look like
QB: Aaron Rodgers, Zach Wilson, Tim Boyle
WR: Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, Corey Davis, Mecole hardman
TE: C.J Uzomah, Tyler Conklin, Jeremy Ruckert
RB: Breece Hall, Dalvin Cook, Micheal Carter and I think izzy stays for next year and the foreseeable future.
