Mets’ officially placed Pete Alonso on the 10-day IL, retroactive to June 8th, with left wrist bone bruise and sprain. The league leader in home runs will be sidelined for at-least 3-4 weeks after taking the ball off the left wrist Wednesday night against the Braves’. The Mets’ have 2 options as of right now at first, with Mark Vientos, Mark Canha so we will wait and see who gets the most reps. The struggling Mets’ now lose a top player and face huge adversity, we will see if they can respond.
