Mets’ have had a choice with Sanchez’s opt-out of his MiLB deal on Friday, and the catcher has been hot down in AAA, so instead of letting Sanchez opt-out they are bringing him up to the big leagues. Sanchez is slashing .318/.531/.546 with an OPS over 1.000 in 32 plate appearances in Syracuse. Per reports, he will be active Friday when the Mets’ continue the home stand against the Guardians.
