Reyes has been performing really well out of the bullpen to start the 2023 season, pitching in more low leverage situations than higher he’s been just performing really well. Reyes was optioned to AAA on Wednesday early afternoon, to make him into more of a depth starter. But we will still go over his stats and more from his small time in the Mets bullpen this season. His slider has been elite, just been simply amazing, let’s look at the stats:

Great numbers by Reyes, if he can continue this he could be a piece that the Mets’ could use going towards the postseason. If Reyes can turn into more of a depth starter option that would be huge for the Mets as they have been looking for guys that the can pump out 5-6 innings and provide quality starts.
