The Giants have finalized a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders to acquire Pro Bowler Darren Waller. Waller brings size, physical, and he can go up and grab the football. He’s only appeared in 20 games the past two years, putting up 83 catches, 1,053 yards, and 5 touchdowns in that time span. Daniel Jones was just recently extended, and now has a number one target.
Giants only ended up trading a third rounder, (pick 100) and that’s the pick they acquired for Kadarius Toney. Not so bad at all. Waller is 30 years old but is still a top 5-7 tight end when healthy. This is a very weak wide receiver class, so GM Joe Schoen went and got a great, GREAT TE for very cheap. He’s someone who will pair very nicely with Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley.
