Brock Nelson played an amazing game tonight. Getting a hat trick after what was first though to be a Parise go-ahead netter, Turns into a Brock Nelson Hat Trick, the 5th of his career. Captain Anders Lee scoring 2 of his own as well. Nelson has been great on the 2nd line for the Isles and he’s produced a lot of offence.
Game 1200 for Parise
In game number 1200, F Zach Parise helped gave the Isles the lead with less than 3 minutes to go as he fed the puck for Brock Nelson’s 3rd goal of the game, Parise a veteran wing for the Isles has been playing some very good hockey this season, and he came up big tonight.
Isles Defencemen have been struggling of late.
The Isles d-men have been struggling lately, mainly Adam Pelech and Noah Dobson, they have to figure it out. They’re very talented and we’ve seen them perform consistently before. For the Isles to make a playoff run they need to step up.
Playoff Impacts?
With a win tonight, the Isles hold a playoff spot for the first time in over a month. Sitting atop the Wild Card race at 54 Points, a much needed win. They play the Boston Bruins tomorrow.
